Reading Length: 1-2 minutes
Go-Getter vs Go-Giver
The bigger and more successful people are often givers. This is because the secret to success is giving.
Law #1) Law of Value = Your true worth is determined by how much value give more than you get paid for / how much you take.
Ask yourself these questions:
- Does it serve?
- Does it add value to others?
- Does it make money? – Money is always the last question you should ask
Law #2) Law of Compensation = Your income is determined by how many people you serve and how well you serve them.
Compensation is proportional to how many lives you touch. If you want more success, find a way to serve more people. Remember this: Survive. Save. Serve. Try to develop skills in networking and look for a solution where you both are in a win-win situation.
Law #3) Law of Influence = Your influence is determined by how abundantly you place other people’s interest first.
If you place the other person’s interest first, you will get your interest taken care of. The act of giving is what makes most people attractive so stop keeping score!
Law #4) The Law of Authenticity = The most valuable gift you have to offer is yourself.
You are the most important commodity. It is usually 10% skills and 90% people skills for true success. If you put on an act, you have no possibility of giving more.
Law #5) Law of Receptivity = The key to effective giving is to stay open to receiving.
If you deny receiving from others, then you are denying the ability for others to give. Giving can only happen because there is also receiving so remain open to receiving!
